Toyos are not crappy! I have a set of proxes and they are the best tires I have ever had. Perhaps you got a crappy set.

I had Proxes T1's (not the T1s, just the T1) and I thought they were great...

They were, however, mounted on my TotallySoftWheels....(trolltrolltroll)

If it's not what he has, it's crappy. Haven't you figured that one out yet?

the highest I got it was 120, which was life threatening, I had a guy tailgating me on a back road and punched it, every bump I got air, but I lost the guy. I live in the back woods so I am used to crappy roads

I was behind him and what a crazy scene that was! I got up to 120mph but didn't go any higher.

Fastest I've ever gone is 140+ in my former '00 SVT Lightning. Not sure how fast I was going as my speedo was buried. Guiness book says these trucks top out at 147mph though...

nope. If a TT 300zx making about 400whp+ is maxing out at 161 with 4.18 gears, i doubt an svx would make more than that. There is too much wind resistance for a car as underpowered as the SVX to go that fast. Esp. w/ an auto.

Very true - but Cd of 0.45 does wonders to limiting your top end!

Nice truck though - drank gas like it was going out of style though...

140. Last month I did a test run and got her up to 135, on video. I'm on MSN if you wanna DL and see.

I don't know if anyone recalls but for the last year I have been limited at 125. Turns out the cone filter was the culprit.

Tom,

300ZX TT's have a Cd of around 0.32. A european member named Sonar has taken his SVX up to 164+ mph on two occasions. Btw, this wasn't measured by his speedo, but on a police radar gun at a special event he was taking part in...

One of Sonar's threads is here:
