i still have mine!

i replaced the wife's at about 4k miles, though, after we almost went into a tailspin driving slowly down a straight piece of slippery road.

i wonder if it has anything to do with tire size. my 2000 legacy gt limited had 205/55-16s and i was making a left turn on ice from a stop and ended up doing a 270.

teh 215/45-17s didn't seem so bad on the 2005. perhaps, i was just more familiar with their limitations.

i think the LGT tires are different than the older ones. aren't they RE-92A's now? they do seem slightly better than the ones that were on the WRX.
