We got a new refrigerator for the weekend. Our beer fridge died.

We have to keep our priorities straight!

I have a home brew in hand (drinking hand ) at this moment.

Strategy --- Do what I do, downgrade mums/moms fridge to the garage and buy her a nice new one.

Tom,

I actually looked into buying a Beermeister/Brewmaster, but a new fridge is cheaper. Anyway, I could use the extra freezer space.

Bought a new one for my kitchen and took the old one to the basement. Same idea.

Trevor, two steps out of the garage to my fridge, but I usually never drink while I work. I know some people like to drink in their garage but that just not for me. I have too many fridge's to know what to do with...

Don't let those tall jack stands get "Tipperly".

Presuming the term, indicating lack of balance and or too much cheer, is used up your way.

It is great to have some humour within the sometimes stressed technical threads.

Still working on the floor joists. Saturday was the Autocross, so the day was pretty much shot, and yesterday it didn't get cool enough to go outside and work until after 5:00.

This afternoon the weatherman is calling for thunderstorms and tomorrow through Thursday the temps will be 100°, 98° and 93°, respectively. I'm not sure it will be cool enough to work by the time we get home from work at 6:30 p.m.

Once we get the rest of the floor joists in (we have 12 more to go, 6 on each side), the floor should go on in one day and then we can start the second floor walls and order the trusses for the roof!

Tom has the camera, so I'm sure he'll be putting pics in his locker whenever he has time to upload them.

Another update

Seven more floor joists to install. We had to adjust the ones we put in because we had underestimated how large we need to make the opening for the cars to be raised up on the lift.

Tom put down (but didn't nail in) one sheet of OSB and we sat on it last night and looked down at my car, which was up on the lift. Strange point of view. We would have taken a picture, but Tom left the camera at work.

I won't be home before dark tonight, so I'm hoping Tom can get Nick to help him finish up the floor joists.

More later..........
