I got the 93 back this morning. Here are a couple of pictures of it.

It goes back in September for some more minor work and some more paint and touch up. After that, it will be very nice. It has come a very long way.

It's missing a piece near the door on the passenger side (near the hinge). Is that supposed to be missing?

Remember, it still needs 'minor work'. Re-attaching those exterior trim pieces will be nothing compared to the work that has already been completed on that car!!!

The pieces that are not on the car were not put one because we will have to pull them off again in September. If we did that, the plastic attachment pieced would be destroyed again and I don't want to buy them again. One mirror is broken and it will be replaced and painted along with the other on. There are a few door dings that will be fixed and the back bumper will be repainted as well.

Dang, the switched the wheels! John kept them and sold them to get a few more bucks out of it.

There are a couple things inside that I need to do as well. The air bag still has to be replaced as well as the sensors. The seat has some serious wear and I will get that fixed. Most of the other stuff has been taken care of. It has come a long way from what it was like. The students did a great job on it.

7-11's curse the SVX!

Looks good as new ! Anyway how did that happen in the first place? Reminds me of the day I was driving down a boulevard with cross overs, this thing is a beast and this is the best I can describe it. It is 12 lanes 6 going south, 6 going north and is divided into 3 each with a barrier of trees. So you could be in North outer North inner South Outer South inner. In order to "cross over" into either an inner or outter lane you have these little "cross over's" is like a little cut out enabling you to do just that.

I was just leaving the 7-11 to cash in on a new lottery ticket game I won $50 bucks on. Anyway one day im in a cross over in my 92 SVX 122,000 miles on it and ready to see if it's faster then this red BMW in front of me to like 45-50 MPH. Next thing he started to go but didn't so I was turning my head double checking nothing coming at 90 MPH there wasn't but the BMW was still there and I was at a rolling start so I hit the brakes really hard and next thing I know I tapped him a little bit in his shiny red BMW. I was like "Ut oh if there's a scratch on it im screwed." So then I debate whether to reverse it and blast off outta there. Good thing it didn't do anything! (and he didnt care if it did ) So I guess it was good I didn't flee. But in my Svx I could have blasted away like a f-16! (maybe early March 2004 for the record)

Another time in april 29, 2004 my last memories of the Svx,at around 9 am heading from college to 7-11 (a different one) and I slammed the thing into a parking barrier (those white one's about a foot high before the curb, bout to go to bed and cant think of the name.) I always felt that the brakes on the SVX weren't the best. When I first got it the brakes were changed too so I don't get it neither.

Anyway luckily I didn't do anything like that there but probly woul have if I kept the SVX. Instead the thing leaked alot of engine oil (could have been another black oil) all over the street. Thats when I sold it.

The PO was merging onto a two lane street. The car in front of him started and was merging onto the street. When he started to go, he looked over his left shoulder and when he looked around - the SUV had stopped in the lane. He hit it and his bumper went under the SUVs. No damage on the SUV, but $14,000 on his. I bought it from him and am getting it back to the original or better condition.

I am torn

Looks very nice again to be sure.
Half of me I pleased to see another 93 back on the road...
The other half wonders how much more mine would be worth if it was not...

Anyways ya cut it, the job was a nice one for looks at the very least.

What sort of title does it have now?

Ohhh what kind of SUV was that? SVX losed so badly?

$14,000 on his....is that the reason he got rid off the SVX? He only
had liability coverage? He could've probably found some better deals
to get his 93 fixed.....
