We SVXer's don't believe in drinking inside our cars...You deserve a wedgie for that question!!

If you don't have the useful () stock cup holder that fits in the compartment between the front two seats you can opt for the wedgie.

Type in the word "Wedgie" in 'search' field on this website. You will get lots of info and pics there!

well i'm actually more of a Loyale man who just happens to own an SVX so i'm not really an SVXer. So i'm gonna skip the wedgie and start on my cupholder.

A Loyale owner that happens to own an SVX? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Hey the Loyale doesnt have any cup holders either does it?

Hi everyone, If you went out to buy a twelve year old car. and would only buy one with cup holders. How many cars would you find. Not many. I only have one compaint about the SVX interior. The glove box. But thats another thread. Take care, Bobb

So what's your complaint?

I can easily fit a pair of gloves in mine (maybe two).

i have cupholders! they are plastic and removable and sit right on the door near the handle. i just throw them in the trunk until i need one or two.
i cant remember where but ive seen one with a permanent placement on the hand brake. not my place of choice but it works if you live in a flat area.

just a semi-on-topic sidenote:

my mother and i testdrove a legacy sedan a few years back, and she asked the salesman why the cupholders in her '95 legacy wagon were so inconveniently located (with the cupholder out, you couldn't TOUCH the climate controls or stereo). he told her that in Japan, it's considered somewhere along the lines of blasphemy to eat or drink while in the car, so when their engineers were finally forced to put cupholders in their USDM cars, they just slapped them wherever they could without giving it much thought.

i don't know how valid that explanation is, but it certianly seems to make sense..
