Shifter Indicator Assembly
While my car was in the shop getting repaired, they broke the little plastic piece that slides with the shifter. Wonderful…
So I bought a new one (and not just that plastic piece, it’s the whole indicator assembly). Is there a write-up on here on how to install this? Or could anyone tell me how to go about disassembling the general shifter area? Thanks. |

I did a writeup on the center console removal. That should get you in the right direction:

Somehow they locked up the transmission.
So I told them how to unlock it with the shift lock thing. But apparently they didn’t listen... and they broke that somehow. They claim it was "brittle"... sorry but that's bs. Anyways, I don't feel that they're competent enough to install a new one, so I'll do it myself. |

Careful removing the shifter trim. The plastic "fingers" that hold it in place are brittle
