I'm still in! Gladys is green and has some silver decals and one white one on the windshield. My cell is 209-770-3764, and my real name is Katie.

Sounds great Katie! Is Dad bringing his own SVX as well, or is it too early to ask? Looking forward to meeting you , Gladys and Dad.

Food

Sorry for being out of touch guys, I have moved and my DSL is still down. I am only going to be able to be there late on Saturday. I got promoted, but I have to work at night m-f so I'll head up after a quick sleep. Rojo how long of an advance notice do we need to give McClintoks? So are we going to do a drive after or the Hearst castle thing? I don't want to scare people off planning something that someone isn't interested in.

Well, I was at McClintocks yesterday afternoon and spoke with the banquet gal. They have a room, available Saturday 4/30. BUT would require $100 for any group less than 30 folks. It doesn't sound like we'll be close to that , but they open at 3pm and would have no problem accomodating us close to that time in the regular dining room. I thought we could gather at Avila, but visiting after dinner I found the old "public" parking lot now has an electronic "cashier". So I'm thinking, with such a small group (5-10 CARS?) we could proceed on past the Avila entrance and meet up along the Port San Luis Drive about 11am before the Boatramp parking area. We can meet and greet for a while, get some pics, take a drive until time to eat. Then after a nice meal folks could split up into appropriate groups and make evening plans. SLO is a College town with a few night spots and nice downtown area for a browze, etc. Sunday would be "on your own" as it sounded like some might want to do Hearst Castle, or take the long way home up the PCH past Big Sur to Monterey/Carmel. Other ideas?

I can't commit, but...

Leeson, here. My SVX was hit by an irresponsible driver down here in San Diego yesterday. My driver's door is a all crumpled. Argghh!!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it, so put me down for a maybe. I don't have to work that weekend or anything, but taxes this year wiped me out. I just don't know if I'll have the gas money for this. Sorry, guys. I really want to come!! We'll see...

Dad is no longer going, so it will be just me and my friend Brittany. We only have one SVX. The two of us will be leaving here and caravaning with another SVX at 6:30 and it's a four or five hour drive to SLO.

Does anyone know the agenda for Saturday yet?

Unhappy Sorry

Jeez I hate to say it....I have to work Sunday-Thursday. I'm remodeling the Rancho Mirage Home Depot and I have no flexability. I hate to do this as I was looking forward to meeting everyone, I hope that everyone still goes and has a great time. Again everyone i'm sorry.
