97 side emblems repops

Im toying with the idea of having the 97 rear side
emblems made that where behind the rear 1/4 windows
They would be identical to the OE units except I was
thinking about removing the Subaru part and just having SVX
and instead of just silver inlay, would could do a few colors
possibly Red also as an option (unless there was a demand for
another color)
From the dealer these things are like $75 each ...insane
Our repops would be the same quality as OE but much less $.
depending on how many we do per batch, maybe $20-25 each ?
Anyones thoughts on this ?

Dayle, sounds like a good idea, but from my experience is seems most people choose to take them off and keep the car badgeless. I wouldnt mind them in Gold.

yeah, gold would be another good option
thing is too, they dont have to be put on the car itself
they may look good under the hood or speaker box or
tool box etc... but if theres not enough interest, I cant
do the initial buy it would take to make them.

For the record, they were 94+ on higher optioned models and only made for US market cars.

And I agree with Dan. They're pretty tacky.
