Finally i sneak it through the carwash

just snapped a few quickies in the parkade before i tuck her back in

I just LOVE the rear end on these cars.

Fabled JDM corners

I didnt wanna use flash, so some blurriness is to be expected

Can't wait to throw on some tint. I havent seen a whole lot of users here opting for that route, but to me this screams to be 'ghosted'.
just not sure what kinda combo go go on the front glass.
The outer window only, or inner window only? or both

Likely gonna tint the tails as well, just a touch to bring everything together in black

thoughts? reccomendations?
i'm all ears to the veterans.

Re: Finally i sneak it through the carwash

Looks minty fresh
Identical to mine other than the wheels&tint.
If you are looking for a good place to get tint, try my friend Phun@Clear Choice Auto, he does all the tinting for the Subaru dealership, and I am pretty sure he did few SVX before.
Being OOP'ed yet? Any future plans other than tint?

Re: Finally i sneak it through the carwash

goin for the OOP tomorrow, hopefully should be good. i dont have DOT tires, and the mech i talked to seems a bit concerned about headlight alignment
but i've got high hopes! hopefully they're not dashed too badly tomorrow

and def gotta clean up the interior, undo the jimmied DRLs, get an AM headunit, possibly with gps.
redo all interior lighting with nice strong LEDs (except those tiny 7219 bulbs =/)
some rims def on the list as well

Sounds like a good plan.
Can't wait to see it on the road
Wish there is more SVX's in Edmonton so we can start the SVX only meets in summer

what i'm guessing happened is, the previous owner was following some sort of 'proper rotation' schedule
as it sits, 2 of the rims are 'backwards'

i believe if the front left and rear right are swapped, then all the rims would be facing the 'correct' way
edit: something about the rims 'scooping in air' as the car moves forward? at least thats what i recall the subaru rhetoric read as

Re: Finally i sneak it through the carwash

Your car looks great. The windows would look good with a 35% or so, but imo stay away from tinted tails on the SVX. On other cars, its do-able, but I don't think it looks right on our cars.

Re: Finally i sneak it through the carwash

I am not sure if that has been done. USDM cars did not come equipped with those markers. You may want to check K-Staff or some of the Japanese websites.
