Ive read a few articles on that race and it looks like a ton of fun. while the destruction of an svx is always sad, when you do it having as much fun as that is going to be, who could hate you? good luck out there. Hope u don't get the steel pig welded to your roof.

I read on afterwards and saw that the safety stuff didn't count towards the $500. Also the pics were kinda blurry so it was hard to tell how good of condition the body was. I'm glad to hear that it has already been pummeled by hail.

I also must've missed the rule about being able to sell parts off and using the money to pay towards the car.

But, the race sounds like a lot of fun. I am wishing I knew about it sooner so I could've tried to get something ready for it. Good luck! The SVX has enough character that you should be able to keep it out of the random crushings...I hope!
