Saturday I changed the oil and tested the tranny in my SVX, found the pump's not pumping so I pulled the tranny out... Today I didn't work on it cuz it's at work and nobody is there :-P but I did un-neuter my neutered turbo legacy :-) Motor is in but I discovered that the idjut that pulled it decided to take the intake elbow off the turbo, and take all the nuts off the up-pipe. as well as tore a motor mount (and of course the turbo motor mounts are different than the non-turbo)

Washed it, added some more touch-up paint to a couple of bad spots on the front bumper. Tried to rub out the failed clear on the rear deck, it's about 5 percent better. Treated all the rubber around the windows, doors and rear deck to glycernne, to soften the rubber.
Then took it on the Motor Press Guild's Fall Power Tour, winding up at the Toyota Museum, where it was much admired. Took this shot of the Lexus coupe that Irwin Lieu was drafting at Calty Design in Newport Beach at the same time that the Giugiaros were drawing up the SVX. Almost bought one of those, the dealer was trying to get rid of a six-cylinder stick shift that no one wanted, glad I waited to finally get the SVX.
My friend at Toyota told me that the mock-up was built with different window treatments on each side, to give the powers-that-be a choice. The extra window, included in a rear hinged half-door, on this side was turned down because of extra weight.
So that's what I did last summer, oh, sorry, last weekend. P.

Nothing. Mine has run perfectly for a very long time and has never let me down, ever.

Winter? What's this winter you speak of? Im still using the A/C on full blast!

Washed the Ebony, need to get out my clay bar and then wax it. Then I gotta wash/wax the Pearly and cover it again. Pulled the exhaust on my '95 awhile back and now have to put everything back on so I can bring it to a shop and have them do it. Can't wait to hear my stebro again.

Mine sat in the driveway all weekend, while it's garage space hosted one it's younger siblings.

We took a large 12 inch long dent out of the front fender by pulling the wheel and fender lining and using brute force to push it out from behind.

Then we replaced a defective stock CD player with one from a Outback that looks identical but is 1 digit off in the model number listed on front. It plugged into the SVX radio perfectly, so we took a chance and installed everything before testing it. Held our breath... and it worked!

This week I need to get mine washed and waxed before the big Fall Colors Tour.

Changed the oil (penzoil hi-mileage), replaced the air filter & fuel filter (oem), replaced the bad yellow-20 fuse that was responsible for my loss of clock & heating controls, gave her a nice car wash - and later this week I'll be mounting my Kumho Ecsta ASX's for the winter!

I fueled her up twice, drove her about 360ish miles and washed her. Tomorrow we start on a road trip, then wash, wax, vacuum and clean the windows.
