need info on SVX rods

does anyone know is the eg33 rods are interchangeable with other subies'??

I really need to know, searched the forum without luck.

Longassname (LAN) aka ECUTune is having them made for built engines
there is already atleast one SVX runnin them

i think they started with eg22 rods... check the ecutune threads is what I'm getting at This sort of thing with "rods" and "ecutune"

I know I was gonna try eg22 when I was doing it alone... I'm gonna get them from LAN when I am ready to get back to it

actually i also have dis one. can both be merged to become Giugiaro ??

STI rods are the same along with the ej22 rods... Just go ahead and check the specs for the bores and length in your factory manuals

Don't have a factory manual... any link?

bottom line, does the USDM STi rods fit instead of stock EG33 rods?

yes.... but since the SVX crank is internally balanced you would want a weight matched set of 6 not just any 6 you can find

Lighter, otherwise the stock rods with ARP bolts would be fine. Im telling you, you are best off getting the Eagle H-Beams that LAN has available
