R180 rear diff.
Can the R180 rear be used on a 5mt swap? If so, do the diffs have to be opened up or not? Thanks
dustin

I dont see why not. YOu should be abl to use a R180, but the internals will have to be swopped out to match the gear ratio of the front diff.

Not just the front diff, but the front diff, minus any reduction gear.

an R180 can be used with a turbo legacy 5mt with the 3.90 gear ratio... Thats about it
