Differential Bushing Replacement
Anyone installed Earthworm's Group Buy differential bushings yet? if so, how did you get the old bushings out? We backed off today, fearing damage to the old bushings, with possibility of incomplete removal, and subsequent inability to install the new ones, resulting in a Princeton car stuck in Beach Haven.

Just watch out for Tom's German Shepard Seriously...David posted that he had the process worked out (i.e. he's replaced the bushings on his rear diff) and was just looking for time to do the "how to" write up. You might want to PM him directly. I don't believe there is anyway to remove the stock bushings in one piece....my guess is it's going to take a Sawzall and a lot of patience to avoid damaging the subframe. -Bill (set of rear diff bushings still sitting in his SVX's trunk...)

Don't worry about damaging the old bushings when removing. Both the centers pushed out on mine when they were removed. As for the outer ring one was pressed out complete, the other was rusted in place and had to be cut out. We just cut a slit in the ring and "peeled" it out using a screwdriver.
