For the 5MT and 6MT guys, should I buy a full Clutch Kit or could I get aways with just a new clutch disc?

Full kits are easier. If you want, get a lightened flywheel but those cost a pretty penny. Just if you get a new disk you would want to resurface the flywheel and the pressure plate. Make sure you have a machine shop that can resurface a two step flyweel with studs before you do any more preparing in order to skip over any potential hazards or road blocks

Hopefully your guy gets back to you soon on the swap so I can get the parts to have them machined. I'm sure living in SoCal I'll be able to find a shop
to do the machining.

It's getting closer and closer to that time. So far I sent my pedal box to Tom, booked Tom's trip, sourced a tranny, and got base pass for my GFs car for use when the SVX is down.

Good luck with your tranny searching, I will keep my eyes and ears open as well. Sometime this week I will get to the pedal box and the linkage. I also need to work on my spare X-member I just got back, I am going to sell one and bring the other to SD with me for your car

This thread is a convo between Tom and I, lol. It's going to be a good time out here in SD when you come out. Aug. is when we have some of our best weather. Should be sunny and low to mid 80s with almost no humidity.

Another update... Got the tranny secured for sure today. It should have it in 2 weeks! Plus I got an STi shifter trim in the mail today and did some customizing... what do y'all think?

Did some thinking today and I think I will ship all the parts to you instead of flying them out... I mean I don't want to get to the airport and have them hold them because they could be considered dangerous... Anyway I will try and pack them up and send them tomorrow
