Cumberland Md auto X

the 'ice breaker' is set for May 13, an 14. I will be there on the 13th, and have narrowed the 'Subi-field' to 3 cars!! I will drive either my 85 XT, my 97 Outback (red) , or Tom's supercharged SVX.. ( hint).

Is anyone else going to make it???

Jerry

There is nothing like a 63 Vette body, in primer, on a 2000, 375 HP chasis, with "Farm Use Only" on the door!!!

Yeah, I checked that "Farm Use Only" Vette out when I was up last year. Nasty little bugger! Must be nice to have that kind of change lying around
-Bill
p.s. I'm looking at two of Cumberland's events later in the year

Actually, I's 1/2 of a 61 vette, and 1/2 of a 62, with all the other stuff you mentioned............I most likely won't beat THAT one!!

Okay here's the 2006 schedule...

...per Jerry's link:

May 13-14 - Airport Icebreaker Autocross
June 2,3,4 - Cumberland Historics Weekend
July 29-30 - Mountain State Classic Airport Autocross
August 19-20 - Summer Sizzler Autocross and Airport Appreciation Days
September 16-17 - Harvest Moon Airport Autocross
October 28-29 - Pumpkin Carve Airport Autocross

As of right now, I can make the event in late July, but not the one in August as that clashes with a points event in my SCCA. The event in September clashes with the Subaru Challenge which takes place on 9/16.

Does the July 29-30 weekend event work for most people here?

I'll be there at least one day in july. Mike Moran will be waiting for you in the Impressive Impreza!! (I think that guy puts GLUE on his tires!!)

The june event is going to be geared towards 'caged cars' , pre 1980, and the course for these cars will allow speeds of 100+ mph!!
2 days will be our stuff, though. they SAY that reg will stop at 100 cars for auto X.

After checking the schedule with my local SCCA region, I'm going to attend the Saturday, July 29th Mountain State Classic.
