Someone backed into me. . . .
This may not be the right place for this so forgive me - but my front end was backed into by some dope who doesn't know how to drive. Now - it's barely noticeable to most people, but the grill, the tip of the hood, and right fender have been pushed back slightly (maybe 2"). The kicker is that the right corner light is now flaring out of it's nest in the fender, but still intact. Not happy - not happy indeed.
The question is - is it a pain in the @ss to have it looked at by a body shop and pulled out, painted, etc, or would it be easier to buy a new hood, / fender combo, and have them painted up? Anyone, Bueller, Bueller?

I would go in and have an estimate done. Then price the parts and find out how much to paint them. Then compare the two. Good luck. Did the person do this when you were not around, or were you with the car?

No I wasn't around, in fact - I did n't even notice it until the next day, when I was taking out the garbage - or something. That's when I saw the corner light sticking out.

holy coincedence batman
this just happened to me too. i was in a static-x concert and came out to find someone backed into me drivers side front end. the bumper is poopy and the headlamp and center lamp are pushed in and back and my hood doesnt close all of the way now. im going tomorrow to get some estimates.
