Weeeeeeeeee

Alright, after several attempts to try to part w/ my SVX i still have it. I had been trying to work deals and what not but every replacement car I'd think about it wasn't up to par. So my dad has decided to graciously relieve of the car for a good exchange. I am selling him my svx in return for down payment + 3 months monthly payment on a 2003 infinity G35 coupe. with 280 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, i love the car. just have to wait about a month before I can taste it. mmmm.

My bad, G35 is a want-to-be Skyline.
And you are still a trader

Nice! A G35 coupe... *drool*

So is it a 6spd or the auto? Did you get the Brembo brake kit, spoiler? Those cars look sweet and turns a lot of heads just like our SVX's!!!

Well I haven't actually ordered a car yet, still researching. I'll opt for the automatic(sadly) just because I out driving a lot and unfortunately as much as I hate it and everyone else hates it, I am always on the cell phone as I drive. It's the only way to keep in touch with my friends. (I am out of my house close to 18 hours a day). G35 just is the screaming contender. I've decided to look at:

'04 G35 coupe (beauty)
'04 G35 AWD sedan (practical speedster)
'05 Subaru Legacy GT (mmm 250 hp & torque.. mmm turbo)
'04 Mazda 6s (don't know why i like them)
'04 Nissan 350z (sporty)

hopefully i'll be able to go down that list and see which one i like. i'll report back after test drives onto here just for ****s & giggles.

Off of your list, my final three would be the G35 Coupe, Legacy GT and 350Z...

Question, if your dad is letting you look at 30K+ cars, why not consider the Golf R32, Lancer Evo or STI?

not looking at STI/evo or r32 (no idea on what that is but guessing is on par w/ Sti/evo) because if i have it i'll use it.. i.e. i don't want to die. STI/evo have a little too much power for me and would be very unsafe in my hands. =] that's my excuse. I am also saving myself from probably a LOT of tickets.

Yeah G35 and Legacy GT have caught my eye the most. G35 because of performance while eye catching.. vs Legacy because of performance while ability to remain unknown. =]

Have you thought about the Forester XT. Will blow away several cars on your list, yet does not attract the cops. A very nice drive too.
