Battle of the Imports (Invite)
On July 10th (Saturday), my local track is hosting the annual Battle of the Imports race/show-n-shine. Last year I tried to make a meet out of it and failed miserably. Mitch from SLC did come up and got to see me wax the competition and take a first place win. I hope to defend my title this year, but no guarantees. Would be an excellent chance to see what your SVX does (if you are interested) or just come for the fun and excitement. This is a fairly big event that pulls competitors from nearby surrounding states.
SO, if any SVX members would like to turn a meet out of it, it’s all good with me. Thought I would invite all.

Firebird Raceway. Its just north of Boise. I would meet people at a easy to find location in Boise and people can just follow me out to the track. Will provice a map as well for people who show up late or get caught at lights.

Ahh
I always thought that the SVX would be an excellent bracket racing car. No wheel spin, big slow take-offs, automatic and consistent 1/4 mile times = $$$$$$. I only knew of a couple of people here that did it and was sucessful. I'd show up in a heartbeat........if I had an SVX

$20 to race for sure. I think its $8 or $10 for spectators and or show-n-shine entry. You are almost guranteed two time trials before eliminations. Sometimes if you are early you can get three.
