Winner in the Daily Driver class was a black LS like yours, but in not nearly as nice shape. Mine is a '91 L with less than 100k on the clock, and all original except the A/C system, and is a rare 5-speed as well. (I think I read somewhere that 80 percent or more of the 164s were automatics.)
By the way, Tom checked the codes on the car, and it showed a bad left oxy sensor, so I had them both replaced, along with putting in an aftermarket resonator to replace the rattly stocker. The car is now smoother and much quieter.

Are you serious, only 20% are 5spd (6138 total -> ~1227 5spd)... my 93L is also 5spd, anyways L is very good long distance cruiser, smooth suspension for long rides and you can drive it in whtever way you want (smooth/aggressive). But Q is a whole different story, you cant drive it smooth, it makes you push it harder and harder and its electronic suspension and engine tune even makes you to do it as soon as you get it moving . The more you push it, the more fun you get .

Coming to svx, I badly need to refine my exhaust, I swapped both front pipes and mid section till the muffler with used ones and havent checked them at that time and now it became a pain for me. Car doesnt have a smooth power delivery and drinks gas too much. Do you have any good recommendations for making it better??

thanks,
-Pavan
