Happy Canadian

As a Canadian, I usually look at cars in the US and the generally lower prices there and think..."Shucks, what a great price. But its in US$." (okay, I don't say shucks) Then yesterday, my son and I were looking like crazed, car-mad idiots, as we sat on the couch googling craig's lists/ebay etc, laughing, oohing and ahhing at all the cars. Husband and niece left the room.
What got into us? The Can$ being equal to the US$...for the first time in 30 years. Is a second SVX on the way for us? Or a Celica? Impreza? Time, and the currency exchange, will tell. But it sure is fun for now.

Yea I was looking at some Legacy mats for my wife but I never thought about a whole car.... Maybe I should look a little closer. Reached par again this morning but then backed off again.. I understand there are some pretty good deals right now. Subaru STi's are apparently a whole lot cheaper in the States than here.....

My son was looking at Celicas-'96 or there abouts- and all the ones up here were $7000-$12000, but he found some stateside for $4000 and up. Some with lower mileage too.

I'm loving it. Every time I look at subaruparts.com or one of the other websites I realize that things are getting cheaper for me!
