mine - 225-45-17 falken azenis sport. Usually run about 47F/44R. Sometimes 45/40

hers - stock size kumho ecsta ASX. Usually about 42F/38R. Sometimes a little higher/lower than that but never as low as the recommended pressure.

I have had bad experience with the recommeded pressure blowing a sidewall on my 17's and bad uneven wear on stock rims. I have had great wear patterns with higher pressure. Car seems to run a lot better on the road too. Less mushy in corners. Ride is a little more bumpy though.

Sumitomo HTR+ 225/45-17 on 17x7.5" rims. Pretty decent grip in wet and snow. Have to run about 35f/31r to get even tire wear. Anything higher and the centers wear much faster than the edges. I'll be running Toyo Proxes 4 225/45-17 on Rota 17x8" rims by the end of summer.

On the '92 im running Michelin MXV4 Plus' 215/55 on stocks (40f/36r) and on the '95 im running Yokohama Avid V4's 225/50 on stocks (42f/38r) both sets are V speed rated and A traction rated. The Yokohama's will probably be the first to go (I can kick the back end out way to easily).

And I can burnout through first gear. So what? I want tires that don't spin. :P

Really though, are those super grippy?
