Like I said check out the blower. I parked my 1991 Subaru at a friend house for a weekend and ended up with a mouse nest in the blower motor. my wifes 1985 Honda had one in the blower motor and she used it every day. the worse on was the nest under the intake manifold of the SVX.

I've found two products that seem to work good. I've used them on farm trucks that had been parked in the field for a while.
The first is called Ozium and the other is called Smoke-Out (I think).

well, i have noticed one thing. I only smell it when the heat is on, and maybe i smell it a little bit (if any) when the a/c is on (or maybe left over smell from heat being on?). How would I got about checking the hoses for animal residue/other? I could try a product spray, but would rather get the problem from the source instead of just covering it up. I don't really know where to check, I guess just under the dash, by the pedals where the heat comes out? All help is appreciated, now i just need some free time to poke around looking for little dead animals.
Unless this problem is just the heat blowing onto my feet then circulating that stench throughout the car, but i don't think so. Maybe sharky needs shoe-unstinkifier?
