Anyone else think it's ironic that the canidate running around screaming for change picked the most entrenched old time political hack this side of Arlen Specter for VP?

No she doesn't know better, thats my point, and Biden does. Ignorance does not equate dumb. She is obviously ignorant on some national and international issues, no that doesn't make her dumb. I am ignorant on many of the specifics of those issues that were called out as untruths on both sides, that doesn't make me dumb, I would bet I could say the same for you (ignorant and not dumb that is)

Palin is obviously lacking in experience (she's been at this for what 5 weeks? as opposed to Biden's 30+ years). I think she is solid when it comes to intelligence, initiative, integrity, competance, and also alignment with my views. That is what I vote on.

Wingers? what do you mean by that? Ralph Nader and Ron Paul I would call wingers, McCain, Palin, Obama, and Biden, not really... at least if you buy that they believe what they say.

No, Ignorant is not Stupid (dumb). I preach that all the time. I Suppose putting the cop analogy in there was misrepresenting what I meant. I meant to say, that by saying "She didnt know any better" That quote Sounds more to me like an accused lack of intelligence, than a lack of information. (though we both agree, she is intelligent, but ignorant)

All the 'Facts' and statistics that they both spouted, I am sure are very much doctored to have the most incriminating spin to them. Anyone whos taken Statistics knows that you can make the numbers say ANYTHING, without ever changing the numbers.

She seems to really believe her message(ignorance is bliss? haha). I give credit for that.

As for my wingers statement, I was refering to the obviously very republican biased postings in this thread.

Though I would call Obama kind of winger...

I live and vote in Delaware. Joe Biden is the current senator from Delaware.

Now comes the interesting part.
He is not only running to get elected as VP he is also on the ballot to be reelected as senator. This is perfectly legal here (I'm not going to discuss ethical or moral). He will probably win the senatorial election.
If he wins the VP slot (God help us), the governor of Delaware and the Democratic Party big wigs of Delaware and Joe B. "hisself" will pick the person who will get Joe's senate seat for the next 6 years.

I'm guessing that the person will be Joe's son, Beau Biden. Beau is the current Attorney General of Delaware. He is also in the National Guard and was just sent to Iraq.
If all this comes to pass an they choose Beau for the senate, then he will be shipped back to Washington from Iraq.

This election just gets more and more convoluted every day.
