I just bought a 92 svx loaded today. The water pump was out so it is in the shop. I dont know much about it but it is a purple color and the clearcoat is peeling off. It is fully loaded with 136,00 miles. I am not used to the layout of this forum so I am still learning it. THis is my first post here. thanks. my VIN is JF1CX3536NH101507. Thanks.

from TXCESSVX in Paris, Texas (I'm Taking this SVX "To Excess"; just ask my wife!) I've been a long time registered member here (since '94), but never did register my vehicle details. (Sorry, Ensteel) Thought I'd better get on board. 1992 LS-L Ebony Manufacture date 06/91 #1974 currently w/approx 117K mi VIN #JF1CCX3534NH101974 Purchased from Specialty Car Dealer in Miami thru E Bay auction for $5,100 on Labor Day 2002 w/82K mi., Flew in, drove out. One previous owner. (Driving back to Paris,Texas was the best road trip I've ever taken, best not go into detail on that!) Since purchasing "her", I have..... worn out the original A/T tranny (Too much FUN!!)  self converted it to 5-speed at 94K mi (thanks Huck for the How-To) (Thanks WAWAZAT for the parts) Worn out That tranny at 117K mi (WAYYY TO Much Fun!!!!)  (limped Home in FWD, grinding sound the whole way)Have on hand another 5-speed MT ready for install.  (Both from '96 Legacy's w/ 4:11). I have made a few repairs and personalizations mods. (see pics in my locker for most of them.) some NOT shown there include: Speaker upgrades (Big Improvement) Alternator wiring upgrade (Thanks SVX Forum for the How-To) K&N Cone Air Filter,in the air box (Waste of $ and time) rebuilt/repaired the Starter (Should've done a How-To) Coffee Cup holder, hidden in the arm rest (modified from Imprezza version) Personalized shifter knob and boot (Looks like factory original) Head light bulb Mod on Low Beams (Thanks SVX Forum for the How-To) Subaru emblems for Wheel Centers on Original wheels (eye candy) Starter Relay mod for Push Button Start (Should've done a How-To) Alcyone Hood emblem (Thanks SVX Forum for group buy)  Alcyone emblem on rear light bar (eye candy, also confuses cops) Black-out mod on waterfall grill and tail lenses (I Like it; see locker for pics) Drivers window switch mod for Auto up/down feature (from '94 SVX) Moon roof wind shield (not from Suby dealer, Should've done a How-To) Modified Saturn spoiler (Looks OK; see locker for pics) Heater Blower Motor from '96 Legacy (straight across swap) Modified MAF sensor from Legacy (Should've done a how-to) Undersized Harmonic Balancer (Waste of Money And time) WRX Shifter Bushings (Nylon, BIG improvement! Straight across swap) Modified Hood Shocks (from '86 Riviera) I've kept up with the Usual wear and tear items: Tires/Brakes Radiator Timing Belt/Water pump/Belts Exhaust doughnuts Sun Visors, L&R Power Steering O-rings Ignition coils/Spark Plugs/Fuel Injectors Front and Rear Half-Axles Wheel Bearings Moon Roof rails and a few more I don't even remember, but I'm sure you folks are familiar with. This car's still in Great shape, (Just gotta swap out the tranny's AGAIN) Still LOVIN' this car!!!! (wife says I spend too much time with "her")  SPECIAL NOTE: During the Last speeding ticket I got, the Hwy Patrol Officer looked the car over and had to ask ...... "What the **** kinda car is this??"  and "How did you modify the windows like THAT??!!" and "Ten years of writing tickets and I've never seen one of these cars."  I told him to "take a good look, 'cause he'd probably never see another. There're only about 10 in the whole state and some of those are no longer on the road. The ones that are still out there can be a little hard to catch."

After two BRATs and a series of Imprezas, I brought my first SVX home today
Year: 1992 Owner: I'm number five Trim: LS-L Touring Package Drive: AWD Color: Pearl White VIN: JF1CX3538NH105400 Manufacture Date: 9/91 Current mileage: 186,874 Comments: Bought from a buddy of mine who is a Subaru tech. The guy he got it from did the 5MT swap but is currently sitting in prison somewhere as I understand it. Mine now !
