Snow tires for the SVX
Hi,
Im geting some snow tires for my SVX and was wondering if I should get 55 Profile or 60 Profile tires. Heres a link to the tires im thinking about geting... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....inter+Sport+M2 Please give me any advice. Thank you very much for any help, Blake |

I recommend either:

Go skinny. The skinnier the better (to a point). Watch rally racing in the snow. They use skinny tires. Skinny tires work better in the snow.

I wonder if those are replacements for the old Dunlop Graspics?
I had very good results with Graspics for several winters on my SVX. They wore out and I currently don't have any winter-only tires on the car. The Swift has Blizzaks and the Impreza is running on Guardex's. Of the three, I would give the nod to the Blizzaks for best grip, but they wear very quickly. And the narrower, the better... Don
