When I was a kid I was the “ugly duckling”, I was a beanpole and almost a foot taller than the other girls in my class and was the object of ridicule and bullying, so I can understand where K Wren might be coming from.

I wasn’t sure what to expect here, but I actually thought this might be a place for me to come to where people talk about their great SVX cars, and maybe get acquainted with some owners in the Reno area.

You are a brave lady to stand up amongst this lot and I applaud you. They may not have directly stated that he was an idiot, but they certainly implied same and in a nasty manner.

Quite a long time ago I exchanged many emails with Keith, whereby he assured me that he was my friend, and I believed him. I sincerely regret that of late it was absolutely necessary to correct some of his technical posts, so that wrong information did not remain as a record. I tried my very best to be gentle but to no avail.

He will be devastated as a result of what has befallen him. I will again endeavour to take up my email correspondence with him and do hope that I can soften what must be a serious blow to his self esteem. He is of course now denied personal messages.

If his banning takes the same form as mine, it is likely that he will not be able to view your kind message. Unlike me, he is unlikely to have a relay in the form of a friend. In any event he has been denied any right of reply. Not nice, honest or fair.

In spite of all the back slapping which goes on, this now is proven to be not a nice place. Certainly not what it was when I first joined. Many valued members no longer post. The place has become a desert and lacks any forthright debate, and now we have this. :-(

Having read the thread covering Trevor's banning, now that there has been some some positive replies it can be expected that the thread will be quickly closed by those in charge. Freedom of speech be dammed. LOL

I guess this isn't working. The first post says KWren has been banned. #2 1986 nate says to check the history. I spent hours doing just that before commenting. (nice way to spend a Sunday pm) Mr Steel was nice, and Mr Trevor sounds nice. It goes down hill quickly from there.
I will check with Mr Steel and see how I can quit the club. I have a great life and a great car and I certainly don't need to be here.

Rats.... With your 7 posts I can see why you are so upset about it. Also anyone who spends "hours" or "a sunday pm" reading up on an internet squabble either:

a) Needs a date in the worst possible way, or

...... who's patting themselves? I merely stated how strange it was someone with the Wedding Crashers chick avatar suddenly pops up, apparently living in Reno (one of Keiths regular destinations), and then gets REALLY mad about Keith being banned, despite only having 7 posts total.
