Would it be at all possible to keep the stock dimmer functional? thats what i was thinking.. connecting it to stock circuit but i was worried that the two inverters would burn eachother out?

remove stock inverter, use DC source wires to wire new inverter

you should be able to slip the gauge face over the needle long end first and then slip it over the short end. It is simple enough, you will figure it out

I actually hooked mine up to the lead to the parking ligths when I did it in my old 94. Worked well and I didn't burn out the stock circuit which I know has happened before with people trying to use their dimmer

Any hints on where i can find those wires for the parking lights? or did you just connect it straight to the parking lights switch? sorry for all the questions... I should have done more research on this before going on with installation and now its getting dark and my car has no speedometer!

I ran a wire from the parking light on the front driver's side. Not the best way to do it but was succesful

It worked alright. Kinda strange but it didnt blow up all the electrical stuff like when I wired up into the illum. circuit
