The Beauty of AWD
Lots of snow hitting our area tonight. So far only 6 inches. I had to drive 20 miles back home and everyone was slipping and sliding all over the place.
I was navigating North into the storm. Drivers all kept checking me out wondering what I was doing in the snow. Other FWD drivers drove alongside me trying to pass me, I guess assuming since a "sports car" can go this fast in the snow maybe I can go faster... They slid sideways all over the place. I safely cruised at 25-40 mph depending on the road conditions I stopped in the parking lot to do some test runs to make sure the rear wheels were working. They were....  Took this shot in the parking lot  Hope everyone else is having a great snowday! P.S. my weird shifting disappeared

the SVX does get a lot of stares in the snow - a low, sleek sportscar-looking thing driving along smoothly while SUV's are sliding all over the place.
 i remember going home from work one night in teh SVX during a snowstorm and there was a big hill that people were attempting, and sliding back down. i cruised right up it.

Glad to hear your weird shifting is gone now.
Nice picture and I wish I had my digi cam on hand tonite. I went to some pretty extreme cases on my yellow 4.44 Of course my AWD is working good. Our car does handle great on snow. I am still in the observation of my 4.44 - it looks not really good with the lil whining noise. I may have to pay for labor to get it swaped again? I can't really afford the rate of 50 bucks an hour too many times....
