I feel all guilty about participating in a thread that got locked. My mamma taught me better. Does this, like, go on my permanent record or something?

To paraphrase Hocrest - You snooze, you lose!

Basically just some young punk that kept harrassing and abusing anyone who was posting at the time.

Earl proved he can do more than just buy every SVX he sees.

No, nothing on your permanent record... But... Earl will be calling your Mamma and letting her know all about the post, so you better watch out.

Do you think it could have been that alexm2888 character? If so, I'm embarrassed with mud on my face. I unintentionally led that critter to our site.

I had that thought too, it seemed awfully coincidental that SVX!!! appeared the night after it was posted that AlexM was not AlexM

I doubt it, this guy didn't capitalize the first letter of every word and the writing style (or lack there of) was completely different.

Dan

PS: What are you talking about? You have no mud on your face. I'm the one who sent the message to the potential buyer on EBay who had his price bumped up 18 times by lyuppa05!

Thnx Earl... I wouldn't be ashamed of the top speed thread that someone else started...yes it was started on the bad idea that it was all street racing but it was beginning to become a technical discussion on what conditions the SVX might be able handle etc... It was actually getting a little interesting to hear other's input...but thats just my $.02

I agree. Could we, with the Mods permission, start a thread on the Potential of the SVX Top Speed?

Potential speed of the SVX is not street racing or driving at excessive speeds on a city street. The top speed at a track is doing it responsibly and there are no problems with that kind of discussion.

key word you are missing Earl is "potential" I enjoyed the discussion of what the car may be able to do not what has been done and proven.
