Yeah, please let us know how that works out. It doesn't sound like a great idea to me, but I know Nik will try anything besides actually replacing the belt.

A few drops on the inside of the belt sounds 'safe.' I would certainly make sure to not get any on the outside of the belt, lest you want to fling ATF all over the compartment.

I use a bar of soap or a small candle while the car is running works great!

lol in India they use everything to the max....even if it breaks they'll find some way to patch it up and they'll still use it.

If the belt slips no harm done. Not like it'll go anywhere. Besides, it's squealing because it's slipping due to frost. WD is good because it's not high viscosity treatment so it won't lubricate the belt.
D3 I'm not sure about. Seams like it would eventually coat the belt if it needed to be used repeatedly.
