Valve Cover Gaskets
Does anyone know how to get to the valve cover gaskets? They are leaking in my car and I need to get them replaced. But I dont know how to get to them. Do you need to drain any fluids first and what do you need to take off? Any help would be great. Thanks ~Dennis

1. Yes, you need to drain the oil.
2. Remove anything that's in the way. In all honesty, I haven't removed the valve cover gaskets (I figure when I want to make my engine stop leaking oil, I'll pull the whole damned thing and replace every seal on it). But if you need to ask those questions (no offense intended by saying that) then I recommend you get some sort of manual - even a Chilton's book will help.

No - you don't need to drain the oil - it will not leak out, it will all be in the oil pan.
You can remove the battery and airbox for easier access. The passenger side cover comes off pretty easy. The drivers side is a little tricky.
