hope this helps...from Alldata: Antitheft and Alarm Systems: Technical Service Bulletins Security System In 1994 SVX With Dual SRS System Be advised that the security system control module has been relocated to the trunk area on SVX vehicles using the Dual Air Bag System. The control unit can be found by opening a door on the underside of the rear package shelf in the trunk. On SVX's without the Dual Air Bag System, the control module will be in the usual location behind and above the glove box. |

While we're on the subject...
I have been trying to figure this one out for a while by searching and reading old posts, lots of old posts, but I can't find a definitive answer. The question is: I have a 95 w/no OEM alarm...I have confirmed that the harness does exist in the trunk. Can I just buy the parts and plug them in? Are the wires for the dash button waiting just behind the blank panel? Has anyone actually done this?

but they wont interchange, the plugs are different
