I didn't get to the dealer or shop for a tester yet. PA weather has been nasty and garage space is limited.

What kind of problem were you having that prompted a Knock Sensor replacement?

I had my local guy check it with his tester and it said knock sensor problem. He cleared the code but the light never went out.

As I said mileage is good, car runs fine, past PA emissions test and I don't hear any knocking.

It was hesatating when first using it in the mornings. Now that they are replaced the car has more power. I had my mechanic do it for me because it did not look like an easy job (he said he had to take off the top half of the motor to get at them). It was worth replacing because the check engine light is off and it runs better.
