loud squeal from passenger...

Every time I drive my SVX in the snow, my passengers always emit loud squeals. Anyone ever experienced this, and if so, do you know of any good fixes?

Thanks,

I nomally drive pretty fast. Ask Doug. My motto on the road is "if a soccer mom mobile, a semi or a Lada passes you, you should not be driving."

With that said, we have tolls in IL. We have express lanes in the tolls. They are wide enough for one car and speed limits are set to about 30 mph. I have been known to go through them at around 70+ Why? why not? The technology behind them can take your picture up to 130+ (and I personally know the guy who developed that system).

I once had a gf that would squeal and leave fingernail marks on my hand because she thought we are going to hit the barrier and die. I kept telling her that she will never die in my car. Period. At lease not while I am driving anyways.

I find the squeals less audible if the passenger is stored in the trunk. This also solves the problem of persistent or lingering passengers.

The problem with using alcohol to dampen the squeal is that it increases the risk of leaking from the esophageal seal. Synthetics like valium don't increase leaking, and some synthetics (compazine, thorazine) may actually prevent leaks.

You are going to slow. Speed up and slide longer with more 360 spins. When the passenger yells that they want to get of the car "NOW", just let them out. Problem sloved

I think you found a good excuse to install a killer sound system.

Press the window lock button. Roll down the passenger's window from the driver's side. I've discovered that it's difficult to scream when your teeth are chattering.

If the passenger is in the trunk then where do I put the bodies?

the SVX was made to be driven....not lumbered around in!

I find that most annoying noises in the SVX go away after I turn up my stereo

Thanks,
It's called "keeping your hands to yourself". Everyone knows squeeling passengers are safe only when the car is parked. You need both hands on the wheel when driving in snow to be safe anyway, you horny little bastage.

-Johnny (prefers the passenger to make the driver squeel)

I knew someone else would pick up on the "Johnny Dangerously" colloquialisms.
