Post a few questions

the first is my speedometer is cuting on and off, some times it wil work and some times it wont? it seem to be abd sensor somewhere also whene the speedoameter stop working the tranmssions shifts funy and hesitates, even more, where should i start looking?

2nd after i got the car back form the shop there is a wire that is not conected, i have no idea where it goes it might be for somethign else a option my car doesent have but its in the engine bay, near the fire wall, right next to the power steering rack, it has 2 plugs coming out of one wire loom one is pluged in and the other is just hanging i wish i can take a pic of it , does it go to the cars equiped with speed sensitive steering,?

3rd my car is hestitating some it just doesnt feel right like its boging and choking some at lower rpm range, like doing 50 at 2,000 rom it julting some nothing big though but u can feel it, any sugestions,


im shure u guys know i had the engine and tranny pulled out for repairs i think he didnt do a greta job on puting it back together, /

any help would be great or ideas

The first two problems definitely sound like your #2 soeed sensor is bad or not connected properly. The speedometer is electronic, and takes its signal from that speed sensor. The transmission also uses that sensor for a variety of things, including figuring out torque split.

As for the wire, I have a couple ides, but the first thing that comes to mind is that one of your O2 sensors isn't hooked up.

The hesitating I'm not sure about. TPS?

im going to get under the car tonight whene it cools down,, and trace the o/2 wires down and make shure there pluged in ,, so the car has one speed snesor on the wheels and one on the transmission ?>

last night it work this morning it didnt its weird,, like a loose conection maybe
