saw Tori Amos tonite.....wow

serious, I always liked some of her music, but her in
person and in concert is unreal. Never heard anyone sing
like her, better then a CD. I was in awe the entire 2 hour
concert. The crowd was interesting to say the least, but
the whole auroa of the evening was amazing.
It was held in a amphitheatre style venue out in the desert
at a casino a few miles outta town. Under the stars, cool breeze
was a night to remember.
Even if you not a fan of hers, I suggest going, its almost a
moving experience.......
wow..

Oh, on the way home had a run in with a black wrx on the freeway....from 70-110 I was pulling him, boy was I surprised
and yeah, a little pleased too

next week Goo Goo dolls and the week after that Jame Taylor...
cool

I saw James Taylor in concert about two years ago. Back when I worked for bose they used to give us really good seats at concerts. We were dead center 4 rows back from the stage. Let me tell you, he is absolutely fantastic in concert. One of the best live musicians ive ever seen. You'll enjoy it.

that cool Harry..

I felt a little outta place to be honest, but between
the music and watching hot chicks making out in front
of me, it was a win win situation.
I had my g/f with me.....she was cool with it too

I like the hot lesbians part, but the music just ain't my thing. It'd probably still be worth the price of admission, though.

Luckily, to take care of my music fix, I get to see KoRn tommorrow night. And the best part is that my wifes friend is head of the event staff, so I get in for free and get to watch from the catwalk directly above the stage. All I have to do in return is make sure no one else goes on said catwalk, and dress like a nerd. I saw them once before, and they are phenomenal, one of the best I've ever seen. I just hope they don't have the flaming "KoRn" sign like they did last time, or it might get a little hot up in my area.

Cool! I always wanted to see 'em... until they started "selling-out." Now TOOL would still be an awesome show... heard they are awesome live, too.

Hot lesbians making out.... hmmm... that's cool. I think that it would just REALLY frustrate me, though (after a while). "Hey, can I get in on some of that?"

Well, I just got back, and all I can say is...damn. They get better every time. There were about 2500 people in there tonite, and they played better than the last time I saw them, which was in front of about 50000 or so people at Foxboro. Almost got to meet them tonite, too. I accidentally got sent into the "KoRn Meet & Greet" room, but was quickly escorted out by their event staff. Oh well, maybe next time.

As for selling out, I hate it anyone says a band does that, regardless of who they are. Anytime a smalltime, niche band makes it big, and starts making money, they're labeled a sellout. As long as they still make good music, I couldn't care less what they do. I personally think KoRn has been getting better with ever album, but thats my opinion.

I also had the opportunity to see Tool about a year ago at the same place. Unfortunatly, I was about two out of surgery, so it was out of the question. I've never really been a big Tool fan anyway. But with the pain killers I was on, it'd been one hell of a show!

Now, all I need to see is Ozzy Osbourne, Linkin Park, and Bloodhound Gang, and I will have seen all my favorite bands live at least once.
