Looking for Concours example for show in June
Hi,
I am the Chair of Car Selection Committe for the Ault Park Concours d' Elegance in Cincinnati, OH. I am also the Collector Asian class recruiter. This years concours is being held June 6-8th and is in it's 31st year of existence. A few years ago we started recognizing the importance of Asian Classics and have invited exceptional examples to appear in our show. Our website, www.ohioconcours.com, has background information and also galleries of past participant cars and award winners as well as nomination forms. The SVX is a rare example that would make an interesting addition to the show. I am looking for a concours example of the car that is willing to be nominated for inclusion. Concours condition means a car that has been restored to as it would have come off the factory line or maintained in excellent condition. The car would be competing against some meticously restored 240Z's, 2000GT's, NSX's, Datsun Roadsters, etc. The BOC last year was a Honda S-600 that had won previous concours. SVXcess (John Hoffman  ) has the best example of a stock svx that I know of...

ah, but it isnt stock
Harry (newsvx) comes to mind. His car is absolutely mint, and the strange marks STILL on the glass from the factory would be a nice concours show touch. his motor is probably the cleanest ive ever seen, short of polishing everything (of course, that isnt exactly "as it came from the factory" now is it?) Another that comes to mind is Alancourse (thanks for refreshing the old memory, earl) . His car is a very low mileage stock laguna blue lsi. Some peoples cars are super clean because they spend hours restoring them...his is clean because it has never gotten dirty

Alancourse has the nicest 96 Laguna Blue SVXs that I have seen out there. Svxcess has a great Polo Green too that is stock except for the lights. I don't know if there is anything else that is not stock. I am sure that there are a few out there that could qualify for this show. We are starting to get some recognition now as the car gets older.
