Well now that you mention all the other problems then I would certainly not raise your asking price, but I can't view the pics right now because I'm on a government computer and they are blocked so I can't give an accurate opinion. As far as your trunk being stuck...does it open with the key? Because you might have the opener cancel switch on which prevents the trunk from opening with the popper thingy inside the car.

no keys fit in it, it seems like this car needs like 4 different keys.

One valet one, one for the doors, one for the ignition...trunk can only be opened by the lever...even with the opener cancel switch in both position it won'T open..I don't know what's the problem.

Sounds like the a lot of parts were replaced that brought different keys into this???

I don't know, but I have a huge folder over an inch thick with repairs and parts changed...beside all this, mechanically, garages always complimented my car as being in great running condition

I paid $1,932 for my '92 just a month ago and it runs, looks good, and other than the radiator, I wouldn't hesitate to take it cross country. $600 seems fair IMO.

BTW, I ordered a PWR aluminum radiator, should be here on the 11th. Do the silicon hoses you guys mentioned have the correct bends in them, if so, where can I get them?

AND, I like the wheels like that, "slipping" vs. "hooking". Does it effect brake temperature?

Thanks,
Terry

ummmmmm
i REALLY dont mean to be/sound insulting but......
i paid 500$ cdn for mine last sept and it had a LOT less wrong with it and is in better general condition
i paid 300$ (too much!) for an engine/transmission-less parts car that still has TONS of good parts on it.....

i paid a mechanic to swap in a good used 4.44 trans/ rear ring/pinion for 550$ total and he threw in the trans cooler.....

long story short is that the svx is REALLY not that expensive to fix if a person can shop around and find the right people/places to get parts or work performed...

i'd still be 1/2 interested but i'm kinda thinkin 500$ cdn is more realistic.....

again..not trying to be insulting...

i must be getting cynical in my old-age.......
sorry......

rob

Ditto. Canadian Tire wants $2200 to replace my pre-cats, O2 sensors, re-attach the droopy sunvisor I removed, and replace a wiper blade.

I figure I can do everything for about $500.

That's because they cost $750 each in Canada.
