security box

Can someone tell me where the security system box (brain) is located on my 92? Is it under the hood /under dash or ??? Thanks... Jim

It is...behind the glovebox, up there bolted to the horizontal dash tube. you will probably see the black antenna wire not plugged into anything hanging down before you see the actual box. It is Black, about 7x5 inches about 1.5 inches thick. Remove glovebox to get at it.

Not fun, but not too tough either. Be gentle on the plastic. It is old and brittle.
