SRT4 VS SVX (yeah)

I had this dream last night that my mom had purchased me a new SRT4. It was REALLY UGLY, it was a cranberry color, so it wasn't bright red, yellow, or black. I drove it around, and it was real fast, rattly, and cheap feeling. Still fun...but I didn't care. I wanted my SVX. I couldn't remember where it was. My mom said she didn't remember what she did with it... and I was getting PISSED OFF.

I was like "God dammit! I bought that car because it has AWD, and it looks cool! I mean, yeah the SRT4 is nice and all, but it cost TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! I could have a twin turbo 6spd SVX with carbon fiber everything for that much money!!!!! Where is it!? What did you do with it!? I want my SVX interior!"

Anyway... it was a relief to wake up and realize my SVX was still sitting outside.

...i think this is a first.

the SVX is a massively awesome car, but i have to admit, if i had $20,000, i'd most likely spend it all on an SRT-4

But you could have an even SWEETER car by dumping it into your SVX.

that's very true, buti don't want to go day-to-day wondering if my tranny is going to blow out, or if my engine block is going to grenade....

if i were to keep the SVX, i'd want to pretty much replace EVERYTHING in it with brand-new parts, and i'm not sure that 20k could cover that..

i wish they made the SRT-4 in RWD.. oh wait, they do.. it's called the Razor.

awesome.

Except they aren't making the razor. I wish they did. THAT, I would rather have than an SVX. SRT4 powerplant, RWD, TWO DOORS instead of 4, and for only $14,000 bucks. No stereo either, that way you can install your own..

THey won't make it though because of Mercedes.... it'd kick hte crap out of 60k benzs and they just couldn't have that.... :|

What the hell is going on here? Rob is arguing against the Neon in favor of the SVX. Where am I?

You're actually READING WHAT I"VE BEEN SAYING THE WHOLE TIME!

argh.

I've NEVER said the Neon is a better car. I SOLD my neon to get an SVX, and I'm glad I did. What I was arguing (which a lot of you still don't get) is that a Neon 5spd is FASTER than an automatic SVX, handles better, and is really fun to drive. The SVX is less fun to drive, but a BETTER CAR.

I know, I'm just bustin your balls man. It just seamed funny Adam typing ( I'd rather have an SRT 4) and you typing ( but you could have an even sweeter SVX) I know how you really feel, It was just kinda funny to see it typed out like that.

Okay. Well, other people than you still don't get that, hence why I typed it.

Wow that is horrible. If you need counseling I have a friend who is a psycologist, maybe she can help. I would never wish a nightmare like that on anyone.

Yea dude, me neither... That is terrible... Now there are some cars down here in Australia that I would give my 5 Speed SVX up for in a second... Like an R32 Skyline or a R33... That would be the ****!!! Or even a Holden HSV Commadore or a Ford XR8 Falcon or a 1999 WRX STi.... Or a Liberty B4..... Oh god the list goes on!!!!!

id never give up my svx for anything. same for my xt6 sitting lifeless in the garage. and ive raced an srt4.
took him off the line but i couldnt keep my speed up. cam timing was off by 80 degrees, so said an aircraft mechanic. 20k bucks would turn my X into my dream machine and id have enough left to fix the body on my 6.
i cant deny itd be extremely difficult to turn down an R34 though.
