Working on them now!

I'm working on those skirts currently. I hope to have them ready in a month or two, so look for them sometime next January

Seriously...I have one side nearly complete and should have some pics pretty soon of the progress.

Check this thread for some details:

Wow, I really like the black finish on the interior of the prototype as opposed to that fake wood look. Black with the grey interior would look awesome.

widebody SVX

Hello guys

Personally I love the widebody look as proposed

I wish the original had so aggressive a look but maybe it was not in keeping with the aero look....

Its great anyway !!!!!

something i just noticed in the prototype versus the real thing... look at the front fenders. on the prototype, there isn't a line/fender flair thingy. it looks like the whole panel bulges out.. and the door looks almost set in, rather than flush with the rest of the side... or maybe its just the picture

your not seeing things. that door is about 1 1/2in behind the fender. (im working off memory from pouring [drooling] over images of svx prototypes). it has that euro muscle look, reminiscent of those rolling wings.
at least some side skirts would hide/keep away the dirt that bonds to that area.

The trunk opens normally. Look closely to see the dividing line between the trunk/spoiler and the plastic trim under the rear side windows.

What is really interesting is the sculpted bodywork that surrounds the sides of the taillight/side marker, close to the gas door.

...about the wide-body stuff

How do you think the SVX would look with just some fender flares (over fenders)?

If I had the money I would love to have it done. Personally I think the SVX is begging for an honest-to-God widebody kit. More along the lines of the classic BMW "M" series style. I also consider the SVX to be a sort of widebody already, considering it already has that massaged fender look that makes it look so sweet and muscular. I just think it could use a lot more so one could slip a set of 275's all around.
