I voted for the same location although I didn't go to the 10th. I don't mind where it is

I voted Lafayette, as I thought it was a great location at the 10th....

I voted for Lafayette due to it's closer for me and has something Subaru related there. I'm really excited about a possible tour of the plant.

It would be wonderful to meet everyone there...Lafayette would be better as it will only take hours instead of days for me...

I've been away for so long!

Hello all!!!

Is there really a 15th Anniversary meet???? Great! I've been gone for so long and now back to visiting here. I've missed a lot. So many new members here now!

Good to be back! I still have my baby and as I was in the 10th Anniversary meet, I'd like to be there for the 15th...love you all!

I finally checked Mapquest.

And for us Lafayette is "only" Total Est. Time: 8 hours, 19 minutes Total Est. Distance: 522.45 miles.
I was kind of hoping for Cherry Hill NJ, so that we could see The Pace Car!
And because it was alot closer, and I'm ALWAYS WORKING!!!

When I toured the SOA plant in Lafayette in about 2001 it took me about five hours to get there driving to the airport, switching planes in Pgh., flying to the airport near the plant, and then an hour bus ride to get to the plant! So I thought it was farther.

The plant is impressive. Very clean, very employe friendly, and employe FAMILY friendly!
With a health/fitness center, and a daycare!
The grounds are akin to a park!
Ducks, and everything!
I've not voted yet, but I would not object to Lafayette over Cherry Hill, now that I know it's only a five hour drive.

If we take MY Claret, and Diana drives!)

Tom brings up a good point. Maybe we could contact SOA in Cherry Hill to see if they will let us get a tour and maybe see the pacecar. Plus it is REALLY close to me and I am sure closer for a lot more people. I could also head up some activity planning since, well, it is right over the bridge from Philly. what do u guys think??

I think the west coast people wouldn't be very happy with that location.

i know but it would be a lot cooler to see the pace car in person. Besides, where are all these west coast people who are actually planning on comming?? Why don't they voice their opinions instead of hiding in the shadows complaining

One of THESE

I guess what's funny is that it's almost as common as Springfield

Does anyone have any dates that would be preffered?

I like the sound of late May or late August/ early September

Got to save june for the Dragon!!

I can have my wife call some hotels in lafeyette and see what kind of group rates we are looking at. It will be a call-in group that will have a cut off date which will mean if you are serious about going you will have to reserve your room ASAP!

How many people are serious about going?
