driveshaft removal
Does the exhaust need to be removed to replace the driveshaft?

I can't say for sure, but I think you'd need to drop the rear portion of the factory exhaust.
The rear portion of the drive shaft should be covered by a heat shield between it and the exhaust which will probably be in the way. Here's the diagram, hope it helps.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4bbhclte6z...05553.jpg?dl=0
