Too much to do and too little time to do it in. I still need to get the dent fixed from the asshole that hit it while it was PARKED last month. I say asshole because it didn't even leave a note. Then I need to get the Krown rustproofing sprayed on to keep it rust free for now. On top of all that, work has been busier than it has been for 14 years. I will think about this and try to come up with a plan. BTW, is a bearing and hub replacement something like a noob like me should be doing even if under your guidance?
With a lift, a hub tamer, a good compressor, air tools, a parts washer, a blow gun the correct grease, lots and lots of spray brake cleaner, new axle nuts,
hammer, chisle, drift pin, yes it is possible.

Re: I had an accident;

For the next repair I maybe interested in doing the wrenching under your guidance, regardless there is a check in the mail in advance of the work.

Holy SVX, Batman! I'm not on here much these days, but I'm so sorry to hear this Tom! I hope you heal quickly. I've been looking for a stock radiator if you have one laying around.

Re: I had an accident;

Hi Rebecca,
six weeks ago today, sigh...
The hand is getting better and I have not ripped anything inside.
No stock radiators though. I have to buy at least one for the Polo that got stolen at the farm.
$130.00 plus $40.00 in hoses, $12.00 in antifreeze so that some lowlife can
get maybe $5.00 for "scrap" aluminum.
He took my AC condenser too.

Re: I had an accident;

OK, this sucks. yesterday at 3:32 i went to open my 8' X 7' aluminum garage door, and my almost healed hand poped. Surgery again tomorrow. I can not explain the level of depresion that i am feeling.

Actually the chance of success is much less this time. But as YOU know I am a stubborn person
Wish me luck.

Re: I had an accident;

Sending positive thoughts your way Tom!

There is a guy on another forum I frequent, who has had multiple back surgeries over the past couple of months, but still had a lot of pain so he went to another doctor. That doc ordered a full physical and found prostate cancer which had spread to the colon and who knows where else at this point. He's in surgery today. So if anyone has any good wishes, positive vibes, prayers, or what-have-you to spare, please send some Charlie's way too.
