The lines on the belt dont matter, all you have to do is TDC the engine and check the marks on both cam gears and the crank gear to make sure they line up with the marks. The lines on the belt will only line up once per X revolutions.... Hope you havent yanked it yet.

just to update my timing belt had jumped when i TDC'd the crank.....I had a couple chunks of oily timing cover gasket that must have gotten between belt and cam sprocket..........

if it is the maf, I have mine from my 1992 that will be up for sale pretty cheap. Its fine I just have a Z32 now.

nope its not the maf got a new OEM maf (like 350 bux) few years ago.....thanks for the offer though
