New Hole in Windows, Big Surprise
Just so you all know, a new flaw was found in Windows today that can allow an attacker to control your computer. The patch is available now, and I would recommend downloading it, as it won't take long for hackers to exploite this one. Here's the link to it:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/se...s/ms03-039.asp I'm a field IT admin, and last time, the idiots at corporate waited until we had been hit by Blaster to allow us to use the patch. That isn't happening to my jobsite again, regardless of what the suit and ties say.

thanks for the tip. i didn't get a message about it yet (Auto Update), so i went to the site and updated manually. i guess Microsoft alerts people in waves so that millions of people aren't trying to download it at the same time?
