I was the 7th order. After talking with Dan (at Stebro), I decided that although I could build my own exhaust for less money, it probably would not add as much HP or sound as good as the Stebro. These guys have put significant time into designing and testing their exhaust for the SVX. HP gains start at low RPM, and there is no loss of torque. +7 HP by 1800 rpm, and at the peak in the powerband (5400 rpm), +11 HP. +13 ft-lbs of torque at the torque peak. BTW, the Stebro exhaust system is 17 lbs lighter than the stock exhaust.

If there are 4 more orders, we are up to 15% off. BTW, you can also call Dan. He knows what's up with the order, he's very knowledgeable and friendly, and its a toll-free number. 1-888-8 STEBRO.

What's up with thier web site???? Am I the only one that can't look at the Stebro System at www.stebro.net ???? The link is there but it never works..... Anyone else have the same problem???

I haven't kept up on it but has anyone found out if they finnished the headers yet???? They were making some but that was the last I heard... So far the only thing that I think that we can order is the Euro Resonator, the center pipe and the rear muffler.. I'm getting all three peices.... anyone else doing the same??

I just got off the phone with Dan and gave him my address and credit card info as a show of good faith that I was not going to vanish into the woodwork when time actually came to start collecting funds. I will be buying this exhaust; the only question is what discount I will be getting at time of purchase.

As of 11:47PST we are in the 11-15 order range. He thinks that 20+ orders are possible by Friday.

Err..., when I spoke to him on the phone at about 11:40 am PST, he said I was the 7th order. Did 4 people order between 11:40 am and 11:47 am?

Far be it from me to accuse you of a making prevaracative declaration.

I am certain the is an explanation for our differing perceptions of reality as it pertains to this matter.

Perhaps 7 "confirmed" and 11 "potentials"?

Either way in a week or two I'll have it installed on my SVX, be it a group buy of 4 or 40.

I hear that, I am righ tbehind ya... I guess I need to call the 1888 number to confirm my order. I'll go ahead and give him my credit card # too to show him that I am not a Pu$$y and I won't back down from this deal I'm in it till the end.... Now all I gotta do is work on my tranny deal to get the SVX to Reading!!!!

Otherwise I'll be in my Jeep But that's OK cause I'll be there with a bunch of SVX's anyway!!!!

I'm in

I gave them my credit card info on Tuesday. Can't wait to get that puppy installed.

I ordered the cat, center and rear. I talked to them about a year ago and they didn't have any headers designed, has that changed?

Yea, I think so.... I know I called over there about 2 months ago and asked them if they had the headers yet.... Dan said that they were still working on them.... I hope that they finish them soon, cause I really want a pair of them!!!!!

I spoke to Dan with Stebro last night about 8pm CST. He said I was the 10th confirmed buyer so we are in the 15% discount range!

I asked him about the install kit. He said it is basically for older models that may have undercarriage deterioration. Specifically the rear clamp. It is in bad shape on many older models and is replaced by a clamp included in the kit. For example, I have a 1996 with 63,000 miles. He told me I did not need the kit and could reuse all my stock hardware.
