What driveshaft is needed for '05 LGT 5MT swap into an SVX?
As the topic says...I'm in the process of trying to gather all parts needed to perform a swap from a 2005 Legacy GT into an SVX...will the stock SVX driveshaft work, will the LGT one? Or is there something special I need to do? Couldn't find a good answer through searching. Thanks.

Use a 95-99 Legacy or legacy outback 5 spd driveshaft. You will have to remove the dust shield from the driveshaft input, but other than that, works like a charm.

Is this something that's been done/you've seen done, Nate? I don't know of many who've done a newer style 5MT swap. Just want to make sure that if I order the part, it's the right one.

I have yet do get one completely done, waiting for people to order their clutches... But it's what has been used/done in the past by many. It can be out of either a sedan or wagon, but just has to be from a legacy from 95-99.
