O/T-robot

ok, this one is WAY O/T.....
i have a Heathkit Hero-1 robot with manuals, power supply and remote that the wife says is taking up space. i was thinking about selling it on ebay, but i have no idea what its worth. its not a toy, but a 3 foot tall hump filled with light and motion sensors with an arm that is pretty articulate. i figured there's some tech types on here, so....any ideas? it retailed for $2670 back in 1986.
no Lwin, you can't make it into a passenger seat SVX navigator/voice controlled radio remote.

Can it be programmed to post on the network all day? I've always wanted to see what daylight looks like, but I have to stay in front of my comp all the time in order to keep my post count up!

if i had the skills to not only rebuild a transmission, but program a robot to do it, i would be a lot wealthier than i am now!

Significant Technical Input
If you can get it to wear a prom dress it might do duty as a right-hand passenger for the HOV lane. I'm not touching the articulating arm scenario....

I don't know, Alan...I've seen him do some pretty wild stuff with less. I think he might be able to if he puts his mind to it.

You know what you really need to do Lwin? You need to crack open the front centerlight of you SVX and install a row of super-bright red LEDs with a chaser circuit to get the "Knight-rider" effect going on your car. Would appear totaly stock unless you flipped the switch. Huh? Huh? Come on...you know how cool it would be even as a joke for the Reading meet. I bet you could whip it up in just an evening or two.

A couple members here actually have already done that.
One poor guy bought a car with it done without knowing it.

LMAO! That would only suck if there was no switch to turn it off.
